The "Chiro Action Team" reunion
The Chiropractic Action Team was born as the dust was settling on the dramatic L’Aquila earthquake site. Five days after the quake, a small group of chiropractors obtained authorization from the Italian Red Cross to deliver services to relief workers; the project exploded into multiple adjusting sites offering continual services to thousands of disaster relief workers. Scores of chiropractors, offering their time, talent and expertise, allowed the project to carry through until the end. It was not until the Red Cross withdrew from the area, six months later, were the “chiropractic adjusting sites” dismantled. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Chapter One.
Chapter Two – Haiti, Yes the Chiropractic Team is in Action. The logistics are different, but chiropractic is again heading to those in need. Please make your contribution through a donation to:

Career Planning in Italy
The recent legislation in favour of chiropractic has intensified the communications and queries from around the globe for information related to working in Italy. A multitude of myths and legends about working in Italy have always been regularly bandied about. An OPEN FORUM is being organized by a segment of professional Myth Busters to coincide with the Parker Seminar in order to dispel the more fantastic rumours associated with working as a chiropractor in Italy. So if you are a chiropractic student, new graduate or experienced colleague keen and motivated to practice chiropractic in Italy please join in on this Open Forum discussion. Life Chiropractic College West Alumni Reception
There will be a reception for the alumni of Life Chiropractic College West on Friday June 25 at this year's Parker, Italy 2010 seminars. The reception will be held in the Zurbaran Room at the Melia Roma Aurelia Antica Hotel from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with light refreshments being served. Dr. Gerry Clum will be speaking at the reception, and this will be a great to chance to chat with fellow Life West graduates. (You do not have to be registered for the Parker convention to attend the alumni reception.) All of the events of the convention will be held at the Melia Convention Center or Melia Roma Aurelia Antica Hotel. Be on the look-out for details on how to RSVP for the reception.

Australian Spinal Research Foundation
The chiropractic paradigm hypothesizes that chiropractic care of the spine ultimately leads to better nervous system function, facilitating a greater level of health and improved quality of life. The Mission of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation is to fund research and disseminate knowledge that furthers the understanding, development and effectiveness of chiropractic care. Dr. Rosemary Keating, Spinal Research Governor, has planned a presentation on behalf of the Foundation and their exciting chiropractic research.
