 Piet Seru, DC

Born in Belgium, Dr. Seru graduated from the Sherman College of Chiropractic, having previously earned a degree in Physical therapy and Rehabilitation techniques from the University of Leuven in Belgium. Member of the E.C.U. and the Italian Chiropractic Association, he served as its vice-president and currently its treasurer. He was president and vice-president of the Associazione Italiana di Kinesiologia Applicata and of the International College of Applied Kinesiology (Europe). He was awarded “Chiropractor of the Year” in 1997.

Dr. Seru authored the book, Guida alla Chiropratica, published in Italian, French, and Spanish, and numerous articles on the relationship between the Dura mater, TMJ, feet and posture. He has given many seminars in Italy and Europe. He is in practice since 1981 at the renowned Sanrocco Chiropratica clinic in Como, Italy, of which he became owner in 1993. Since then he has developed and expanded the clinic with an international group of 7 chiropractors to become one of the most successful chiropractic clinics in the world, adding two new partners, Dr. David and Dr. Stockelynck, in 2005.  In 2009 the Sanrocco opened in Reggio Emilia and has added 3 more chiropractors to the team. Over the last 10 years the clinic has averaged over 3500 new patients per year with no insurance, no advertising, no physical therapy, high fees and no gimmicks.

PATIENT MANAGEMENT: Communicative skills and recurrent palpatory pain patterns used during any first visit as practice building tools.

Dott. Seru's will explain in a simple fashion when, how, and why to accept or refuse a patient using NLP and other communicative skills, as well as the importance of recognizing those few patients which will be failures, unsatisfied, or even potential legal problems. Psychosocial scientific research, which we usually ignore, will be used to back up this information. He will also go into detail over the predictable palpatory pain patterns (seated and supine) which occur in patients needing adjusted, how to palpate them correctly, and how to use them as a practice building tool.
