Subluxation Neurology (DC CE)
This session will cover mechanoreception, spinal cord reflexes, and suprasegmental relays. It is a great review of the neurology of the subluxation, including the neuroanatomy to support pain control and visceral influences. At the end of this class, you will be able to draw a simple summary of the subluxation complex and its influence on pain mechanisms and viscera.
Soft Tissue Injury and Repair
This session is designed to review the three phases of tissue healing and the clinical protocols to improve both the timing and quality of tissue healing.
The participants should be able to draw a simple summary of the three phases of soft tissue injury and repair and explain the influence of using controlled motion.
Whiplash Injuries
This session is designed to answer these questions:
What tissues are injured in a whiplash collision?
What tissues are responsible for chronic spinal pain?
What tissues are influenced by the chiropractic adjustment?
